Event Details

Winner of Philadelphia magazine's Best of Philly Award, First Person Arts' StorySlams are monthly, real-life storytelling competitions.  Everyone is invited to share a personal story that relates to the theme of "Love Difference," the idea of loving the differences between us while lessening those that divide us, based on the special exhibition Michelangelo Pistoletto: Cittadellarte at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Where to go
Philadelphia Museum of Art- Cittadellarte Gallery (Gallery 176/ Alter gallery)

Do You Have a Story to Tell?
If you do, we'll put your name in the "bucket of storytellers."  Ten names will be drawn from the bucket at random, and each person will have a maximum of five minutes to tell their story on the theme of "Love Difference."

You don't have to put your name in the bucket to enjoy this evening of storytelling, though, and we hope that you'll join us for an evening of sharing stories and experience whether you have a story to tell or not.

Please Note
Since the event is free after your admission to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, pre-registration does not guarantee a seat or a place as a storyteller - please plan to arrive 20 minutes before the event begins in order to get a good seat and/or to register as a storyteller.
